The Youth P.A.C.T. team have a grant to fund the purchase of equipment and we plan to install some secure storage adjacent to the facility so that there are always bats and balls and the like available and close by.
The lighting will be controlled by a timer and will only be used up to 9.00pm. It's not expected that we will have an electricity supply before mid-summer, but that shouldn’t be a problem with the light evenings.
The way it will operate is that it will be open and free for any residents to use at any time up until 9.00pm when we would ask that, with respect to neighbouring properties, it be vacated. There will be no charge unless exclusive use or block bookings are required.
